date ideas delivered to your door

Everyone is fed up with spending so much time inside and with the people you are closest to. If you are like me, going on month 11 means I need to find new ways to want to spend time together. Whether it’s a virtual Saturday night zoom call or a surprise for someone special, here are some ways you can get creative and have date night delivered to your door.

To give you inspiration, here are some of Montreal (& Laval’s) top romantic and creative date nights that you can have delivered to your door.

Breakfast in Bed

So this may not be a date ‘night’ but it’s a definite winner. If your thinking for Valentine’s day, it’s a no-brainer, especially since Valentine’s day is on a Sunday this year. Most restaurants are struggling, and the breakfast ones are especially hurting. Instead of being able to go in and enjoy a brunch, why not order out and enjoy at home? The best thing is with services like Uber Eats, you can place your order quickly and have it delivered easily.

Roses that last a lifetime… well a year anyway

Montreal’s own M Fleurs offers eternity roses. Eternity roses are real roses that can last up to a year if you follow the care guidelines. They are high quality roses that are transformed into a work of art. They also offer cool cylinder boxes and rounded display cases to show off your bouquet. They may be a bit pricey, but there’s a reason MFleurs is called the ‘CHANEL’ of roses.

Price: They offer a wide range of gifts from $12- $800, but most smaller flowers are $50 and their most popular are around $150.

When the pandemic hit, some smart and enterprising entrepreneurs adapted with the times. One of those was Brahm Mauer. Big events were out, so the drink expert created Brahm Mauer Bar Services at Home. He offers a wide variety of cocktail kits, and even has a candy kit so they kids aren’t left out of the celebrations. They offer delivery on Tuesday & Thursdays, so get your order in asap. It’s important to note depending on the area there may be a shipping fee – I believe for most places north of Montreal (i.e. Laval) it’s a small fee of $5.
